Slovenian Early Music Scene

We also state the nationality of all performers at the Seviqc festival, because we want to show the international breadth of our programme. How far artists agree with their countries' politics is their personal question, not ours. For us, citizenship, not nationality, is at issue. Artists not only represent their countries but also promote them with their activities. The artist's performance at our festival is also our promotion of their country.

For these reasons, we do not confirm artists with the citizenship of the Russian Federation and the State of Israel in the festival programme until further notice, except in cases where they are under the protection of another country in which they reside. In such a case, the artist's country will be the country that grants him/her political asylum.
