Before preparing an application

Before preparing an application, please first read the Application Guidelines and send us your portfolio, especially links to video recordings that enable us to assess the artistic standard of the performers and the proposal’s suitability for the Seviqc programme.

Then review the published forms to familiarise yourself with the information and materials required. Before completing them, we suggest arranging a short introductory video call with us, during which you can present your proposal, we can explain the application process, and together we can determine whether it is appropriate to proceed with a full application.

We also state the nationality of all performers at the Seviqc festival, because we want to show the international breadth of our programme. How far artists agree with their countries' politics is their personal question, not ours. For us, citizenship, not nationality, is at issue. Artists not only represent their countries but also promote them with their activities. The artist's performance at our festival is also our promotion of their country.

For these reasons, we do not confirm artists with the citizenship of the Russian Federation and the State of Israel in the festival programme until further notice, except in cases where they are under the protection of another country in which they reside. In such a case, the artist's country will be the country that grants him/her political asylum.
