Sitting in front of the small screen showing the image of the organist Ana Marjia Krajnc during the concert last night, August 8, held in the parish church of Orino, I live next to many people, an hour of enchantment; the richness and complementarity of the pieces proposed: from Bach to Leo Hassler, from Sweelinck to Buxtehude and the perfection of execution by the organist, allowed me to fully enjoy a sense of ecstatic contemplation. Music, if well-chosen and well proposed, truly becomes a powerful means of communication that knows how to dig deep and awaken surprising inner thoughts and paths. This young artist achieved memorable contrasts in her mature interpretations... her Bach was performed with optimal rhythmic precision and accentuation, passages with every tone perfectly audible; in all performed compositions, Krajnc showed an extremely clear image and a great variety of characters. Her playing is characterized by a measured approach, through which the melodies and games of Giovanni Paolo Cima, Girolamo Frescobaldi and Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck sounded particularly well. This young artist made striking contrasts in terms of varied repeated phrases in compositions based on the variation principle, and above all we should mention Sweelinck's variations Mein junges Leben hat ein End. Johann Sebastian Bach's English Suite No. 3 in G minor was played rhythmically precisely and with well-used accentuation, while the passage movements were performed with the audibility of every note. Generally speaking, Krajnc showed various characters in all her compositions through extremely refined textural image, which came to the fore especially in several movements from Capriccio in G minor by Johann Josef Fuchs.
