Uroš Pele (SI)

After completing his undergraduate and master’s studies in piano at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana — first under Prof. Tomaž Petrač and later under Prof. Dubravka Tomšič Srebotnjak — Uroš Pele continued his training with studies in organ under Prof. Renata Bauer, with whom he enrolled in an artistic master’s programme. He also spent a year at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, studying with Prof. Balázs Szabó and Prof. László Fassang. This year, he concluded his studies with a recital in the Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom. Throughout his education, he has refined his skills under the guidance of renowned piano and organ pedagogues such as Norma Fischer, Frédéric Blanc, Nathan Laube, Olivier Latry and others. He performs as a soloist, with vocalists and other instrumental soloists, and frequently collaborates with various choral ensembles in Slovenia, Croatia, Sweden, and Hungary. In addition to concert performances, he is especially drawn to so-called concert Masses held on Sundays at the Franciscan Church at Tromostovje, as well as to educational projects and the caretaking of the large Schuke organ in the Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom.
