We asked the musicians to write a few words about their work: »We named our chamber ensemble Trio Classic because we wanted to perform musical pieces from the classical period. In the two years we have spent together, we have, of course, performed other kinds of music as well, however, the classical works still represent our foundation. On account of not being able to find many works for flute, violin and viola, we had to create our own musical notation. We believe that gives us a special touch of originality. This time we have decided to play nothing but musical pieces from the Viennese Classical Era (Wiener Klassik), therefore the works of world-renowned composers - Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. Some of the pieces are composed of movements, others of variations. Before performing each of the works, we will say a few words - mostly humorous stories about the composer or his work. We feel that the era of classical music (especially the music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven) will always be current and relevant«.
