Public Institute for Culture, Tourism and Intergenerational Solidarity

On the territory of the Loška dolina municipality it is still possible to discover primal nature, aswell as an amazing cultural heritage. In the year 2007 the municipality has appointed The Public Institute for Culture, Tourism and Intergenerational Solidarity to protect, promote and manage its heritage.The institute has been executing activities in the field of culture and tourism, organizing numerous cultural, educational and sociable events. In the year 2010 the institute has been renamed into The Public Institute for Culture, Tourism and Intergenerational Solidarity with the task of managing and marketing of the collective trademark for the Loška dolina territory – THE LAND OF OSTRNICE. The decree has been issued by the municipality council on the 2nd of april 2015 about the foundation of the public institute for culture and tourism in Loška dolina, with which the institute has been renamed into The Public institute of Culture, Tourism and Intergenerational Solidarity Snežnik, so that the activities in the field of intergenerational solidarity are now also under its patronage.
