Harmonia Adriatica

The ensemble was formed especially for this occasion and brings together Slovenian and Croatian musicians specialising in early music. Under the artistic direction of Maruša Brezavšček, a performer on recorders and historical bassoons, Harmonia Adriatica functions as a flexible ensemble whose vision is to connect Slovenian, Croatian and international specialists in early music. The ensemble’s aim is to foster the development and visibility of early music at the highest level in the local context, while at the same time supporting artists specialising in early music from Slovenia and the wider European area—among other things through the creation of joint projects and the presentation of public concerts.
