Ensemble Leviathan je leta 2015 ustanovila Lucile Tessier, ki je mlade poklicne glasbenike povabila k skupnemu cilju – raziskovanju novih možnosti igranja baročne glasbe prek iskanja še neznanega repertoarja in eksperimentiranja z interpretacijo, da v novi luči prikažejo skladbe svojega programa.

Grad Pišece so pozidali salzburški nadškofje na vzhodnem robu svojih posavskih posesti. Tukaj je bila nemirna meja med Rimskim cesarstvom nemške narodnosti in Ogrsko, ki so jo pestili nenehni spopadi, povezani s plenjenjem, uničevanjem in požigi. Grad kot močno utrjena postojanka je imel v teh bojih in spopadih pomembno obrambno vlogo.
