The publishing house Edition Walhall was founded by Franz Biersack in 1993 and is based in Magdeburg/Germany.

Edition Walhall is the world-wide distributor of editions by the German publisher Edition Güntersberg specialising in music for viola da gamba and the British RG Editions run by the Baroque violinist Richard Gwilt (London Baroque).
