Duo Stegmann - Jiménez (GB)
6.5.2026
Founded in 2019, the duo of violinist Jorge Jiménez and recorder player Anna Stegmann explores new artistic pathways beyond conventional historically informed performance. Their programme LUNARIS reflects this vision through four sets inspired by the mythical phases of the moon. Using recorders, vielle and baroque violin, they weave together medieval repertoire with works from recent decades, creating a seamless dialogue across centuries. The artistic concept centres on blending tradition with innovation, combining scholarship, unconventional programming and stylistic openness to form a distinctive and immersive sound world.
