European day of early music

In Europe, a new festive day was born! On 21. 3. 2013, REMA (Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne / European Early Music Network ) held its first European Day of Early Music . With concerts, conferences and other events that have occurred at the same time across the continent , this day will be living monument to the old European heritage of music and will try to approach this kind of music to a wider audience. Date March 21st coincides with the birthday of Johann Sebastian Bach , as well as the beginning of spring. Slovenia celebrated this festive day with a festival of early music SEVIQC Brežice.
