We join the celebration and support the fight against violence

The United Nations declared November 25 the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women in 1999. On this day in 1960, the Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo had the three Mirabal sisters, political activists in the Dominican Republic, brutally killed. Action days against violence against women also begin every year on November 25, and conclude with December 10, World Human Rights Day (source: RTVS).

Minister of Culture Dr. Asta Vrečko, president of the National Assembly, mag. Urška Klakočar Zupančič and the President of the Republic of Slovenia Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, there are women who understand many things better than men, and that is why this country works better than it would otherwise.

Statistics 1997-2023: if we record individually regardless of the number of performances over the years, 50.07% of the Seviqc Brežice performers are women, and if we record by the number of performances, 51.40%.
