Orlando paladino

We are pleased to announce that the second and the third act of Hayden's opera Orlando paladino performed by the Orchestra Purpur have now been added to TV Slovenia’s web archive. The opera was filmed by RTV Slovenia team at the end of August in the Grand Hotel Rogaška.

In the second and third act the flight of Angelica and Medoro from the jealous Orlando continues. His madness and hostile spurring of Angelica’s protector Rodomont places the couple in a desperate position. The sorceress Alcina tries desperately to help them, while two other lovers, Pasquale and Eurilla, follow the events, making humorous, parodic remarks.
