Hudičev turn (Devil’s Tower) bursting at the seams
Yesterday evening, Hudičev turn (Devil’s Tower) was overflown with the magnificent sounds of the Austrian ensemble Hortus Musicus. The sextet of superb vocalists presented a repertoire of early 17th century sacred music composed by Carlo Gesualdo, known as the Prince of Venosa and murderer or his wife and her lover. The event was enriched with the local produce by the Dolenjske Toplice Society of Countryside Women and the Dolenjske Toplice Society of Winemakers. We marvelled at the wonders of Hudičev turn, enjoyed the superb musical masterpieces and relished the local delicacies.
