30 years Flanders Recorder Quartet: Anniversary & Farewell

The Flanders Recorder Quartet stands for ingeunity, originality, creativity, amazement and the joy of making music. Since it was founded in 1987, the Flanders Recorder Quartet has evolved into one of the world`s top ensembles.

The project »Final Chapter« stands for a great celebration of the recorder, one final burst of colorful fireworks. The programme offers 30 years of experience, expressivity, virtuosity and richness of sound. It contains ansambles favourite compositions of early music.

Over the past years, the Flanders Recorder Quartet has performed several times at our festival and has given the initiative to include Seviqc Brežice in its final tour, which we are particularly proud of. This excellent event will take place on Friday, November 24, 2017 in the Brežice Castle in Brežice. The concert will be at 8:00 pm, an hour before that, at 7:00 pm, the artists will present us the finest moments of their thirty years of extraordinary career.
