Expert conference "Why did you raise your voice - Fear of culture and the power of argument"

We would like all political parties that aspire to seats in the National Assembly to pay attention to culture as well.

Culture is an important part of social life with a soft and deep impact on all other areas. Especially on the economy, but not just on tourism. Citizens who have a certain attitude towards culture are much better at creating, understanding, and managing economic flows. The National Assembly elections will be held on April 24, 2022.

The Social Democrats are organizing an expert conference entitled "Why did you raise your voice - Fear of culture and the power of argument", on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 4 pm in Cankarjev dom in Kosovel Hall and on SD digital channels. The conference will be attended by dr. Sandra Bašić (professor, media expert and activist), Boris Bergant (journalist and TV presenter), Tanja Fajon (President of the Social Democrats and MEP), dr. Miha Mazzini (writer and columnist), dr. Nataša Pirc Musar (lawyer, former Information Commissioner and journalist), Dejan Prešiček (President of the SD Council for Culture and former Minister of Culture), dr. Kaja Širok (historian, long-time head of the Museum of Recent History of Slovenia) and Robert Waltl (director of the Mini Theater).
