European Day of Early Music
Dear friends of early music and Seviqc Brežice festival,
We wish you all a beautiful festive European Day of Early Music. March 21st is the birthday of composer Johann Sebastian Bach and the first spring day, therefore, on the proposal of REMA, it was chosen as a European Day of Early Music.
Due to complications in this year's financing of the Ministry of Culture, Seviqc Brežice will not celebrate this day with a concert, as we did since 2013, presenting exclusively Slovenian artists of early music to European scene. We invite you to visit EDEM website and listen to great live concerts from all over Europe.
Our first concert of this year will take place on Wednesday, April 11th , in Brežice Castle with international ensemble Prisma from eeemerging project. We will present the ensemble to all early music friends at our PressCafé on April 4th at 11 am in Božič Cafe in Brežice, and they will present themselves at out festival upbeat an hour before the concert. We will soon start with tickets sale and will inform you about it with the next newsletter.
