Early music in "Vesela Šola" magazine for children and youth
Together with the editorial office of “Vesela šola”, we have prepared an early-music-themed edition, which was inserted in the September issue of the magazine Pil. “What is early music? The Beatles from grandma’s vinyl? No way! The expression early music is used to mark a thousand years of musical creation, reaching from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance and Baroque”, write the authors of this intriguing issue, and invite primary school students to expand their knowledge of music. Vesela šola has been around since 1968 and is one of the biggest Slovenian mass competitions of knowledge in different fields. This year the young competitors will have to get thoroughly acquainted with early music, among others things.
