Call for cancellation of applications for public tenders of the Public Film Agency (SFC)

A few days ago, a call was published for the abolition of so-called application fees in public tenders of the Public Film Agency (SFC), which have been charged for more than 8 years. Anyone who does not know the topic, but concerns everyone in film and culture, can read the text of the call. It is a constitutionally controversial measure unknown to almost no European country.

Sabina Đogić is a film cameraman, director and producer. After studying philosophy and sociology of culture, she graduated with a degree in film camera from the Universidad del cine in Buenos Aires and a master's degree in Creative Documentary Film from IDEC Pompeo Fabra in Barcelona. In the field of film, she has collaborated with productions from Argentina, Russia, Georgia, Estonia, France, the Netherlands, Brazil, Spain, Finland and Slovenia. She is a member of the European Network for Women in the Film Industry, the European Documentary Film Association, the International Documentary Film Association, the Slovenian Directors' Association, AIPA and the Slovenian Documentary Collective. Her latest film, in which she participated, premiered at last year’s Berlin Film Festival.
