Attendance Report

28. 08. 2026

We have published the report on tickets issued and recorded attendance for the Seviqc 2026 programme (European Day of Early Music and the festival).

A total of 1,216 tickets were issued and 940 attendances were recorded, including 787 at concerts and 153 at chats with the artists.

79.3% of the tickets were issued free of charge. Admission was free to all chats with the artists and to four concerts. Our ticketing policy seeks to strike a balance between free access and ticket sales, an issue that is often debated among organisers across Europe. We maintain a relatively high standard ticket price, reflecting the significance and reputation of the Seviqc programme, while at the same time using a range of mechanisms to make our events accessible to the widest possible audience.

75.7% of visitors resided outside the municipality where the event took place, confirming the Seviqc programme’s long-standing role in the development of cultural tourism.

6.3% of visitors were under the age of 18.

38.5% were visiting Seviqc for the first time or had not attended in the previous three years, indicating that we are successfully developing our audience.

The detailed report, which also presents attendance at individual events, ticket types and the geographical distribution of visitors, is available on our website in document VI, Tickets 2026: Purchases and Attendance (29.8.2026).
